ABOUT JAMES
BAXTER

I have
provided mental health, organisation development and personal relations services as
an independent consultant since 1983. Before
that, I worked as a factories inspector and as a safety and health
consultant in the steel and engineering industry. I have
also been involved in child,
adolescent and adult education, in supervisor training and in agriculture.
More recently, I have worked as a clinician in a medical (NHS) practice.
Although
I have spent most of my life in Britain, I have also lived and worked in France and
Nigeria.
Some
of my essays have been published in professional journals
and Manchester
University's Centre for Adult & Higher Education published my paper Psychotherapy and Teaching.
I aim to supply clear and comprehensive
information about the services I provide before seeking any
commitment from prospective clients.
My main interest is
learning about the ways in which we relate to one another and
how we might improve them.
I was born
in 1929.
